The video below gives you an overview of how to assemble workflow automations.

I don't recommend building out workflows if you haven't yet mapped out your workflows, so make sure you do that first.

As discussed in the video, you'll need to pair workflow "actions" with workflow "whens."

Here are your options:

Actions

  • Change lead status

  • Send email

  • Send form

  • Create to-do

  • Send contract

  • Send primary invoice

  • Create invoice

  • Activate portal

  • Deactivate portal

  • Pause workflow

  • Hold actions until

  • Send appointment scheduler

  • Start a workflow

  • Archive project

Whens

Start by choosing a relative or a fixed date.

Relative

Span of time:

  • Hour(s)

  • Day(s)

  • Week(s)

  • Years(s)

Dependency:

  • After workflow started

  • Before job start date

  • After job start date

  • Before job end date

  • After job end date

  • After form is completed

  • After invoice is paid in full

  • After contract is signed by client

  • After all previous actions complete

  • After an appointment is scheduled

  • Before an appointment start time

  • After an appointment has ended

  • After form is not completed

Fixed

Select a specific date and time for the action to happen.
