Dubsado's Packages vs. Payment Schedules
Does Dubsado* have you wondering what packages and payment schedules are? Let’s set the record straight.
Packages and payment schedules are two components of Dubsado’s invoicing system. You’ll want to use both.
Watch this to understand:
Here’s a quick recap:
Packages
Packages are what Dubsado* calls your service offerings.
You can write out the details for each of your services within a package template. Package templates make writing an invoice very quick and easy because you can select the packages you want to add from a list instead of manually typing in the details each time.
Payment Schedules
Payment schedules are due dates for invoices.
Without these, your invoice won’t have any due dates! Without at least one due date, a client cannot be late on payments.
To be clear, a payment schedule creates a due date (or multiple) for one particular invoice.
You can break payment schedules down into installments or you can use them to require payment in full. Either way, make sure you add payment schedules to your invoices.
